IARB uniforms set includes leotard with IARB logo, a pair of stockings & soft ballet shoes. Pointe shoes for advanced students can only be taught after prior discussions with teacher.

What does the program syllabus involve?
IARB aims to provide a wholesome training of classical ballet under the Russian Vaganova method. Our classes are placed twice a week, of which we aim at one class at technical ballet & theoretical study, whilst the second class of the week at body conditioning, gymnastics & flexibility. Closer to final exam dates, our classes are fully indulged in the examination syllabus.
Are annual exams compulsory?
No, not compulsory. Although we recommend them in order to showcase their learnings across the annual year. and receive an internationally recognized certificate.
Are ballet uniforms compulsory?
Yes, they must be purchased from The Dance Bible website with customized IARB logo. Wearing uniforms maintain a decorum in the study.
What happens if I miss a class?
Each month we offer 2 cover up classes. One can either visit any other center other than their home center to attend in an extra class OR attend online whilst we teach.
Are the fees refundable?
No, fees once paid are not refundable OR carry forwarded. Incase of a genuine / critical medical case, student can request the academy for help as and how the academy deems. If a student, chooses to discontinue whilst in the middle of the academic year after paying fees, IARB is not responsible in granting a refund for the same.
What are difficult months?
Every academic year, we face difficult months wherein the student count lessens. For example, during monsoons in June & July, Diwali in October or November & Christmas in December. In such cases, if a batch has less students, we shift to online teaching for that period of time. Or request students to attend another center where the student count is stable.
What to carry for class?
Please carry a yoga mat, exercise thera band, ballet book & a bottle of water.
Are parents allowed inside during class?
No, we do not allow parents / outsiders during the teaching of class in order to maintain discipline, decorum & lack of distraction.
How shall I track the progress of my child?
During exam times, parents can keep a track through their marksheets & report cards. We also organise observation classes a few times in order to see your child in action druing class. We always encourage parents to stay in frequent touch with teachers who can guide you about the child’s progress & recommend homework.
What must I opt for? Online VS Offline
Learning physically is always the best option especially when in performing arts. Although we recommend in opting for online during travels, sick leaves, etc. in order to not miss the class.
